Jeanne Morain is author and srategist for Cloud Computing. Jeanne has held various executive roles in strategy, marketing, strategic alliance and product management positions with Apollo Group, Flexera Software, VMware and BMC Software (Marimba).
Jeanne has more than 17 years of experience in systems management, universal clients, virtualization and cloud computing, implementing solutions for millions of users across Fortune 2000 companies for enterprises and independent software vendors. She has won numerous awards for her work in the areas of business service management (BSM), software as a service (SaaS), dynamic data center and virtualization, and is a contributing author and coauthor of books on BSM, virtualization and cloud computing.
Jeanne is best known for her customer-/partner-centric approach to research and solutions. She is a noted industry speaker at VMworld, Interop, CloudSlam, IAITAM, user conferences and SoftSummit. She has written blogs as well as articles for trade publications. Jeanne holds a Masters degree from Southern Illinois University and certification in IT Infrastructure Library.
